Tractor Repair: 3point hitch, massey ferg, cantin

I have a massey ferg 2135 when I first bought it the lift worked. It just quit one day when I was using it. I just changed the oil because a friend said that if it had water in it that might be the problem. It was in real need of changing and my transmission will like it but it didn't affect the 3 point. It did work once this year for a minute when I was moving the up down and draft levers. What might I look for as a problem?   thanks joe cantin

Joe the 35 135 and 2135 as well as the 240 basiclly use the same hydraulic system and the draft is a lot of the problem inside the lift cover.
It is not a job you should tackle unless you understand a bit about the mechanics of it.
As getting the lift cover off is a bit of a job let alone doing the adjustments in Australia we have a company that supplies after market parts for most tractors.
They do have a branch in the US the company name is BARE &Co see if you can get the workshop manual and follow it through it is a little complex to explain how to do it on here but the book may help.
