Tractor Repair: replacing shift forks, mf 35, diesel tractor

i have a mf 35 diesel tractor the shift fork need replacing it will go in some gears but not all.what all is envolved repairing the problem do you have to break the tractor into,also if i have to pay someone what would it cost.thanks

David firstly it may not be the shift fork problem please give me a detailed lay out of the problem what happens when you try to shift gears.
The way you have told me really tells me not a thing.
