Tractor Repair: IH B414, hydraulic pump, reply

Question
When I started the engine the loader would not lift and after 10 minutes the hydraulic pump became very very hot. I assume I am frozen somewhere. How can I thaw out the system (I don't have a warm place to bring it into) and how can I ensure this does not happen again?

Jim sorry for sending the first reply I am in Australia we do not have a problem so much with freezing here.
What could be wrong is that the oil could be to heavy in the grade and will not suck through the filter you could look at a lighter grade of oil in the system this is all I can think of.
