Tractor Repair: Tractor not starting, bad earth, kim hi

I have a 1998 Hurlimann Prince tractor. When I turn the key to warm the glow plugs on the tractor it is making a loud buzzing noise - which is not normal. I thought perhaps it was the relay switch because that is where the noise was coming from. I bought a replacement part, but before I installed it I reinstalled the old one and the tractor was fine. Now all of a sudden it is doing the same thing. I wonder if it is a battery problem? I know that it is electrical, but I can't figure out what part is bad.

Kim hi Danny is my name we do not get this tractor in Australia but there are a couple of things you  can check out firstly all the wire connections under the relay we have a tractor here that does similar sorts of things and we find that the terminals hooking wires to relay need to be squeezed a little to make them tight or it could be a bad earth check this out and let me know.
