where is the turn signal flasher located on a 1976 spitfire

Hi John,

There are two flasher units and both are under the dash. I believe the turn signal flasher unit (2 wire) is mounted on the back of the dash near the speedometer. The other flasher unit (2 wire)(4 way flasher unit) is most likely mounted on the fire wall behind the dash.

To ID which is which it is easy. The turn signal flasher has both wires the same color (Lt green with a brown tracer) The four way flasher has one Purple wire and one lt green with a brown tracer wire.
