Triumph Repair: carb & intake swap, stromberg carburetors, constant velocity

My son bought a gt6 that needs lots of love. Is there a different intake & carb (american style) set up that I can buy? Dual Stroms is killing me. Lol.   Thanks for any help.

Hi David,

There are a few options but most will make the car suffer in performance. The dual Stromberg carburetors are constant velocity carburetors which are leaps and bounds better then any fixed jet carburetor. Fuel is metered much more precisely then any fixed jet carburetor can do.

All you need to do is learn how it works and you will see that they are far superior carburetors.
Take a little time to learn how to tune and keep them up and you will see.
