wish to wire ignition box on 1979 spitfire, have two red wires left did not mark them please help

Hi John,

The only electronic ignition that the Triumph Spitfire came with was the Opus/Lucas system but none of the wiring to or from the ignition were red wires. If you have red wires around the ignition system either someone rewired the car or you have some aftermarket ignition system.

I can post a diagram of the Opus/Lucas system on my web site for you to copy if that will help. But the only red wires on a Spitfire are instrument light wires and some parking light wires.
