Triumph Repair: Gears, gear lever, gears

Hi. I have a triumph spitfire 1100. Im not sure what year it is exactly but i know it should be 1960s or early 1970. The car isnt in the best shape and i cant find the gears. Could you please confirm if this is correct. R,1st and 3rd towards the front of the car and 2nd and 4th on the opposite side. Thanks

Hi Snik,

Yes, the pattern is a normal "H" pattern with 1st in upper left and 2nd in lower left, 3rd in upper right and 4th in lower right. Reverse is in the far upper left and to access you lift the gear lever up as you enter that further left pattern.
