Triumph Repair: n.american 72 tr6 leaking carb, TR6, Stromberg

float chamber plug is leaking. have prised out plug do i just replace single o ring? and to refit does it just push back in. it seems alittle loose at the moment with old o ring still in situ. many thanks

If the plastic plug is still basically sound a new o-ring should do the job.  If you fit a new o-ring and it still feels loose.. new plug too.  Cheaper than having gas leaking on the exhaust.........

And if one is bad, figure the other carb is in the same condition.
