Triumph Repair: 72 TR6 axle shaft u-joints, swing axle, axle shaft

Bentley's manual makes removing the shafts seem straight forward. My past experience racing a Spitfire, a much simpler vehicle than the TR6, reminds me that there is always several gotcha's waiting for you. Can you help me anticipate the worst possibilities?

Hi Tom,
No, the TR-6 don't have any "gotcha's" like the Spitfire does. The only reason the Spitfire has some "Bad" surprises is because Triumph cut too many corners making the swing axle Spitfire. The did a better job on the TR-6 (except for the upper right differential mounts)
