Triumph Repair: Triumph GT6 Trunk Lock, rear hatch, triumph gt6

I have removed all the bolts that hold the trunk lock to the rear hatch of my 1972 GT6 Mk3. The"TurnBolt" or the bit where one puts the key in does not want to come out and as such I cannot remove the lock.  Is there something I'm missing.  I don't want to force anything.

Sorry Mark, I don't have a picture of the hatch lock assembly and the last one I looked at was 40 years ago. However if it is the "T" handle type lock assembly with the key in the center I believe there was a small screw in the end of the shaft that held the handle assembly together. If not, take some pictures of the under side of the assembly and post it, maybe it will refresh my memory as there was just about no part on the cars that we didn't have apart at one time or another.
