Triumph Repair: 1976 Spitfire 1500 Clutch Pressure, spitfire 1500, slave cylinder

Question
There seems to be no pressure in the clutch maser cylinder. Rebuilt with new seals. Still no pressure. Has some clutch but after pressing clutch three times while bleeding the pressure tails off. Car has new slave cylinder that was installed by the previous owner.

Answer
How corroded was the bore of the master cylinder?  If the bore is worn too much, fluid will go past the seals, even if replaced.

If you haven't already, go through the bleed process several times and use an assistant if available; the reservoir for the clutch doesn't hold alot and it is easy to suck air

If those don't work, then I would pull the slave cylinder, dismantle and inspect the seals.

Hope that helps.
