Triumph Repair: spitfire 1500, wiring harness, electrics

hi i have a 1973 spitfire 1500. latley the horn and wipers have just stoped working, all other electrics seam fine. the horn was temprimental for a few weeks before hand, but now not working at all or are the wipers., it due for mot and i dont want it to cost me a fortune so if i can sort it all the better. thanks

I would suggest getting a copy of the wiring diagram from either triumphspitfire.com or teglerizer.com, and search for a bad ground or a broken wire that supplies +12 to the horn and wipers.  I assume you already checked the fuses.

Once you find the cause, you can always bypass the broken area if you can't repair (i.e. break is inside the wiring harness.)
