Triumph Repair: TR6 at altitude, exhaust gas analyzer, ratio meter

Question
I'm in Reno, NV (4800 ft elev.) and am considering purchasing a TR6.  I've seen a few posts here and there about trouble with these cars at altitude.  Should I be concerned or is it somewhat simple to manage?  I had a 77 Spitfire years ago and hope to put another Triumph back in the garage one day soon.

Answer
All that would required is to tune the mixture needles to your altitude; as long as the carbs on the carb are adjustable, you should be able to adjust them accordingly using an A/F ratio meter and/or exhaust gas analyzer.

Most shops can do this, but if you're a tinkerer, nowadays you can pick up your own wide band O2 sensor/meter relatively inexpensively.
