Triumph Repair: Spitfire 1300 motor rebuild, auto machine, compression test

Question
I am looking for any recommendations on who should rebuild my motor. It smokes and compression test yielded a 78-80psi with one cylinder pulling 72psi maximum. The head also appears to be leaking oil at the gasket, amongst many other areas that also leak. The motor and car were siting outside for last 15+ years(till I bought it). Body work is all done/interior is 80% and electrical is down to blinkers and horn that don't work as or better then new and I have put 2000 miles on it so far this summer and 12 quarts of oil plus two changes of oil...I am tempted to DIY, but it is likely to need machine work from someone that has done spits before. My motor is not an original motor so I want to soup it up with out burning it up. Who should I call?

Answer
Hi Jason,
I don't know anyone I can recommend out side of my area (Nashville TN) But I can tell you not to just give it to any mechanic unless they have Triumph experience. Even though any good auto machine shop may be able to do a good job on it.
