Triumph Repair: gt6 or tr6, front brake caliper, vintage triumph

can you please tell me if the front brake caliper from a tr6 is the same as a gt6<1972>metric also are the discs the same diameter and same p.c.d.Also thought ford mk1,2 escourts had type 16 calipers is this true.

TR6 calipers up to CC81078 (1972) are identical to GT6's through mid 72
TR6 calipers from CC81079 are identical to GT6 calipers from mid 72 to 73

FYI< With some mods the Toyota calipers fit TR6's. Since TR6 calipers fit GT6 then the Toyota ones should also fit. Visit the Vintage Triumph Register site for more information on conversion.
