Triumph Repair: Spitfire not running without choke, chevy guy, carbs

Question
I have a 1971 Spitfire. I have recently gotten it running by replacing nearly everything. I am having trouble getting the car to stay running after the choke is disengaged. With the choke on it starts right up and stays running. I wait for it to warm up and take the choke off and she shuts down everytime.
I beleive I have hit all the obvious stuff. Timing (all ignition parts replaced and adjusted), fuel, clean carb and floats. (it was sitting for a long time)
I have no idea how to adjust these carbs. I am a Chevy guy :)
Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hi Brian,
The jet adjustments are on the bottom of each carb. Adjust the 5/8" nut up to lean and down to richen.
I am writing up a detailed adjustment procedure for my website and will have it up soon. It is too long to put in here.
