Triumph Repair: Spitfire will not start, solenoid starter, starter solenoid

Question
My 1974 1500 spitfire starter will not crank with the ignition switch, looking at the schematic, I would like to check the fuseiable link but don't know where it is. Do you know where it's located?

Answer
Hi Bill,
Are you talking about the fuseable wire? If you are it is usually pink with a white tracer and looks like any other wire. The engine should have started anyway and then shut off when you release the ignition key from start if the fuseable wire is broken or disconnected.
If the starter motor will not spin the engine, then you need to test the starter solenoid, starter and all cables.
Let me know what it is doing.
