Triumph Repair: another question, spitfire mk, mk ii

thanks for the advice about oil pump  , by the way already check that ligth
and it doesn't turn on when a start ignition, and I check the current on the
ligth and its ok , but I check the other cable on oil sender and that one has
current . But I see when I change the oil ligth to ing ligth and works ,, I
guess a ground problem , but still on when start the engine and the cable on
oil presure doesnt have current .. The thing is the ligth works but doesnt turn
on when I star the eng.... Any suggestions.
next cuestion..... I have a spitfire 77 but I want ur advice about i wanna
upgrade with a new front like mk2 . The one with a Crome grill and a lower
bumper , do I have to change many parts an my 77 to install that front , and
what kind of parts...those catalogs are so confuse for my , the victoria.

In order to fit a Spitfire Mk II bonnet/bumper on you car you'd need:

Spitfire Mk II bonnet
Spitfire Mk II bumper
Spitfire Mk II lower valence
Spitfire Mk II bonnnet hinges

In order to make the hinges fit your car you'd need to have the current hinge boxes cut off the frame and the Mk II hinge extensions welded on.

It'd actually be simpler to find a Mk II parts car and swap the tub, if necessary.
