If i want to remove the emissions canister from my 75 spitfire 1500, how do I reroute the hoses? larry

Larry,

I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish.  The carbon cannister on the later Spitfires was used as the fuel system vent and without some means of allowing air in/out of the fuel system you'll either form a partial vacuum in the gas tank or have an overpressure in the system.

Having said that, keep in mind the purpose of the cannister.  If you can make alternative arrangements for getting vapors out (SAFELY) and letting air back into the tank (SAFELY) then it is possible to create an alternative solution.
