Triumph Repair: GT6 Identity Plate, heritage motor centre, chassis number

Hi there Jim, Im restoring a Triumph GT6 and am just about to finish it and ive realised that ive lost the identity plate thats located underneath the bonnet. Now i know where i can buy a replacement but obviously ill have to stamp the data back onto it. Ive got the chassis number etc already but have no idea what the trim and paint codes are? The car is one of the last GT6's off the line with the sundym windows, cloth seats etc and is painted in french blue. Any ideas where i can fint the trim and paint codes? Thanks in advance Jamie

The only way I know of properly documenting your original commission plate is to get a BMIHT certificate.

Some of the parts vendors have the information in their catalogs, provided you believe the car's colors to be original.
