Triumph Repair: Triumph 1963B, delaware valley triumphs, triumph owners club

Question
My husband recently passed away and left his 1963B Triumph in the garage.  He was the original owner and had all intentions of restoring it.  However, I want to dispose of it but have no clue what it's worth and how to do this.  The car has all the parts but it does has rust and has not been driven for at least ten years.   Can you help me or at least me have any resources for me.

Answer
Norma,

I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

The best way to get an "expert" appraisal would be to contact the local Triumph Owners club.  The Philadelphia area is covered by the Delaware Valley Triumphs LTD club, and here is their contact information:

Delaware Valley Triumphs, LTD
PO Box 294, Skippack, PA 19382
Chip Krout, VTR Liaison, chip19474@aol.com , 610-584-1414

They'll be able to help out in assessing the condition and value of the car, and I suspect that there will be people in the club interested in the car too.

Cheers,

Jim
