Triumph Repair: Spitfire wiring harness, vintage triumph, register website

I have a 1977 spitfire that has had the wiring totally screwed up the wire under the dash looks like a birds nest. Some of it has been spliced to replace burnt wiring. Where can I find a new wiring harness.

There are several things you can do.  One is to read the classifieds (or post a wanted ad) on the Vintage Triumph Register website (www.vtr.org) looking for a harness for your vintage.

British Wiring Inc (www.britishwiring.com) does offer newly manufactured harnesses the the Spitfire.  You can also check with some of the other vendors listed on the VTR website for either a used or a new/aftermarket wiring harness.

Keep in mind that the cars were changing quite a bit in the late '70s and there may be "extra" wires in any harness you pick up.  Or if you find a used one it might be lacking something if its from an earlier car.
