Triumph Repair: hood prop-rod, inner fender, bonnet

this is almost too simple to ask, I have just purchased a 1980 spitfire. the hood prop-rod is with the car but not on the car.  I can not figure out exactly how, which way or where it goes.  love the car and it only needs some care and a few things like putting the hood rod back on.   thanks  Randy

The hood ( bonnet) prop-rod is bolted to the inner fender and the suspension tower on the drivers side.  If you have trouble figuring out which holes look for the ones which have had bolts through already.  If you can't figure it out I'll see if I can post a picture of a properly mounted prop rod.
