Triumph Repair: wiring harness, spitfire club, fuel addative

Question
thanks for your help
I'm going to search for clubs and go look at VICTORIA BRITISH. I need a wiring harness because the one in the car works but its been cut into all over the place and there's wiring running to nothing. So i was just going to get a new one and run all fresh lines. So just driving around town i should be good on the unleaded fuel. cool I got a few more question for you. I wont to make more torque out of this engine. I dont wont it to make the car faster but i wont it to be more jumpy(i think you what i mean). I also wont to have the best mpg(miles per gallon) as possible. How should i go about doing this? Thanks for your help

Hello
My name is Patrick Stoner I'm 16 and I just bought a 72 spitfire mark 4. Do you know what wiring harness i would need for this car? I have a few more question to. Is there any forums or clubs i should join? I got told by the guy i bought the car from that i would have add something to unleaded fuel to run it in this car is this right? Thanks for your help

sorry for delay, there is a fuel addative you can put in the tank (lead substitute) but from what i have heard unless you are on a long sustained trip for hours just driving around town won't hurt it. 2, if you search ( google) spitfire club i'm sure you will find some. 3, go to VICTORIA BRITISH to look for a wiring harness. also what is the reason for needing the harness? Dave

Answer
i have been looking for the harness but have not found one. i bought one for a Porsche 924 from EBAY! you might try there. the 67 XKE i have now started having lights going out one at a time i was puzzled until i found squrrils happily chewing the wiring inside a panel in the back! Dave
