Triumph Repair: Headers, exhaust pipe, catalytic converter

Does a header for a 1300 spitfire engine fit a 1500 spitfire engine.

I think it does. If i remember the pre 68 spit had a 1250 engine and pretty much a factory header. the 1300 had a 3 branch manifold as did the 1500 witch was same but it might have had a different connection for the exhaust pipe.if you are talking about after market headers they are listed the same until 77 when the catalytic converter came along.Dave
