Triumph Repair: TR6 Hub replacement, rear hub, wd40

Question
I am about to replace the rear hub on my 1972 TR6. Is this a relatively straight-forward task and do I require any special tools?

Thanks

Answer
I don't think you will have too much trouble with it. you would be better off removing it from the rear end.a vice and a big hammer might get it off then. loosen the nut, and with the hub in the vice, tap on it. with the nut still on the drive piece  so it doesn't damage it. once it's loose remove the nut so it will come off. a little WD40 the night before might help loosen also. once your there I would look at the bearings and there is a seal there too.I'm a little curious as to what happend to it?
