UK Car Repair: front lights?, filaments, tail lights

hi my front lights always come on when i break? why is it doing this is it the wiring? how can i fix it?

Which front lights. side or head? Do all of the other lights work?  All I can think of is a bad connection or earth at the brake lights, causing the feed to pass through the brake filaments to the side and tail lights. Did it just happen, or was any work done on the car.
