I have a 1998 jaguar xjr the drivers door handle was removed for painting after that the drivers window won't roll down and te sunroof would close itself every time it was opened. i removed the door panel and the sunroof access panel and unplugged and plugged back in the modules after that the sunroof would open but not close the display says drivers door is opem all the time and now it won't come out of park and the window still does'nt work

Something must have confused the door module.  I would remove the door panel and ensure all wiring and plugs are connected properly.  You will then have to go into the computer and reset the window and roof perameters.  This of course takes special equipment, many good jag shops will have it.
