UK Car Repair: Air con - Peugeot 607 2.2 HDi, air cond, peugeot 607

Hi, the air cond has just stopped working on my Peugeot 607 2.2 HDi this week. (Ask an obvious question, but..) is this most likely to be the air con pump unit? or does the air cond coolant just 'go off' with age? (the car is on a late '02 plate). Many thanks for your assistance in advance !!

You need to see what has stopped working, and was it working properly up until it stopped?  With the system switched on, the compressor clutch should be energised and turning.  Are the fans blowing?  If nothing is working check the fuses then get back to me.
