UK Car Repair: Biodiesel suitability., citroen zx, volcane

Hi, I have a 1994 Citroen ZX 1.9 Td Volcane and am considering running it on Biodiesel. Would you recommend this and what are the likely pitfalls (if any) of doing so. I have looked at a number of web sites but would appreciate an unbiased experts opinion! With thanks.

Unfortunatly I am not an authority on Biodiesel but, that being said I see no great harm in trying. As an experiment, when you next fill up, get a sample of Bio & regular diesels. Now mix them in a glass container and watch their actions over the next couple of weeks -see if they mix/separate!  You might want to top off the tank with one or two litre's.
