UK Car Repair: fiat punto 1.2l 1997, vacuum leak, injector system

Just cleaned out the injector system refitted and now when you start it the engine revs at full. Any ideas checked all
hoses are fitted correct.

Did you actually remove the injectors?  It sounds as though the throttle plate has stuck open or you have a huge vacuum leak.  Re check all of the connections, as a test you can block off the air intake with something -we use a conical funnel blanked off- and see if the engine runs, if so, air is getting in from another source,if not, the problem is at the throttle body.
