UK Car Repair: Rover 75 problem, seat belts, rover 75

The air bag light which illuminates when switched on and then goes out,on occasions it comes back on again and remains on. This happens for a period of a week and then is OK. How do I repair this please?

It could be a bad connection or a real fault, you cannot repair it.  Just make sure the seat belts are all connected or retracted properly. To find the fault you need to have the system scanned.  It is not wise to fault find the system unless you really know what you are doing, as a bag could deploy!
