UK Car Repair: 1976 tr6 brakes, mutts nuts, friction material

Question
the braking requires extreme effort and is not efficient- front brakes seem to work better than rear but only with effort-do not know if servo is not working-can feel vacuum form hose or if problem is in lines because car does sit for extended periods

Answer
Ok, well... I guess it's time for an overhaul of the braking system. Install a rebuilt master cylinder, lines, hoses, and new friction material. Don't waist your time with trying to solve the problem. With all you use the car you might as well do it to the 9's this time and knows for sure it's the mutt’s nuts for the next storage stint. By the by, if your not going to drive it you should sell it. Drive it often, once a week at least. If you don't your inviting other, more expensive problems down the road.
