QuestionHi I have golf GT tdi mark 4, the problem is the three three light on the dash speedo, the ABS, Parking brake and battery light stayes on after switching off the engine, this happen sometime and some time it on for few seconds after or all night until the battery drain.

Sorry it took so long to answer your question. My computer broke, and I just got it up and running about an hour ago, and have been answering questions as fast as I can.
Your problem sounds to me like an ignition switch. There are several wires at the back of the switch that make a very tight turn from the steering column area, into the back of the switch. They can get very hot, from the amount of current they carry, and they will also rub together while driving, due to the vibration of the car running down the road. The only repair is to replace the electrical portion of the ignition switch, and it requires a couple of special tools, and some experience, I don't recommend trying to do it yourself. The switch is around $100.00, and the labor is about 2, and a half hours. Good luck, Mohammed, I hope this is of some help.
