Volkswagen Repair: Lights, salvage yard, vw owners

Hi, I was wondering, how hard is it to change the lights in my 2002 passat? One of the running lights is out. Do I really need to take it to a dealer? I've replaced lights before in my other cars. Thank you Laura

From the requests I have been getting, this seems to be a boner thing.  I do not have the vehicle to work on so I can't really help...cept maybe suggest you try a web site of vw owners and maybe somebody there has the same with an answer.  Its free  at www.vwvortex.com    or check out at a local wreckers or salvage yard and ask them Maybe you can score some free info  Would appreciate some info if you could share it with me
