Volvo Repair: Volvo remote, nothing works, volvo

Is there any way to fix a remote that got wet. It worked once after I dried it but nothing works after that. ( I've also changed the battery) If not, is there ANY place I can get a new remote a bit cheaper that the from dealer.

why ? Because, remotes are special parts,
after you have bought it, it has to be introduced to your car,
it is produced like this, because if this is not the way, anybody can buy a remote and can control the car,

so the only way is to go to a dealer,
