Volvo Repair: 850 T5-R, 850 t5, vacuum lines

Question
not long ago my car went in for service and when it came out it wasnt the
same. Before that it would performan so well and now it  seems like it
struggles and lacks the punch it once had. Seems like its lacking the boost as
before , used to hear the whined of the turbo , yet no longer high pitch . On
the gauge ( turbo) it doesn't want to hit the end it stop about a quarter of an
inch from the end . I have checked all the vacuum lines and replaced them ,
Im wondering if the CBV diaphram in the turbo is gone bad . Any ideas what
to look for , really have enjoyed this wagon until it lost its umff.

Answer
Mark, what is a CBV diaphragm? Anyway, not knowing what service you had done, I would guess someone left a hose loose on the charge side of the turbo system? Check them for integrity(holes, cracks, etc) and tightness. Get back to me after doing that.HTH
