Volvo Repair: 2002 S80 T6, damn car, pain in the neck

TOP O THE DAY.....MY 21 YOA SON IS LOOKING TO BUY THE 2002 S80 T6 WITH 75000 MILES...1 OWNER/CLEAN HISTORY AS FAR AS I KNOW.
I SEE U TAKE EXCEPTION TO THE S80...WHY THAT B???

Steve, If you dont want to pull your hair out and curse that damn car to death, do not buy it.  With those miles, now is when stuff will start to break.  The T6 is nothing but a headache.  The 2.9 is better but still a pain in the neck as well.  Some people have good luck with them, others do not.  First of all, why did Volvo put a General Motors transmission in that car?  Big mistake.  Common failure.  To work on the car, you need to take 43 pieces off to get to 1 part, shall I go on?  Buy an older S70 and you will be better off.  Roger
