Volvo Repair: Funny fuses.., kingston ontario canada, copper strips

Hi there..and Greetings from Kingston Ontario,Canada! (The Limestone City).
I'm Baffled!..
The signals on my 1991 240 Sedan works when they want!
I count down to # 15 ,give it a rub..and sometimes (sometimes! ) they come back again!..other times they simply seem to work when they wish !..
any thoughts on fixing this once and for all?
Any help would be really appreciated!

 Wil, clean the copper strips using a fine grit sandng cloth. Spray off the residue with brake clean or if you have contact cleaner, even better. Let dry thoroughly. Gently pry the strips so they hold the fuse tighter. Use a brand new fuse and that's about all you can do if that is indeed the problem.
