Volvo Repair: Volvo XC90 engine ticking, volvo xc90, head gasket

My '05 Volvo XC90 has a ticking noise only upon acceleration.  It is especially
loud when it is cold and I first start it, but only when I hit the gas pedal.  There
is also a slight oil leak and I have already had a new head gasket put on this car.  
What do you think the problem is?  Thanks!

D, Sounds like an exhaust manifold leak or an exhaust leak of some sort.  As far as the oil leak, no idea without looking at it.  I would take it back to whomever put the head gasket on and have them check it.  Also the exhaust leak would have something to do upon reasembly when the head gasket was put on.  Roger
