Volvo Repair: Multi-system intermitant faults: 2001 V70 XC, v70 xc, failure notices

Question
I am experiencing faults on multiple systems (i.e. passenger seat belt randomly locking, bulb failure notices when all bulbs are good, stereo/CD player cutting in and out, engine fault lights). The vehicle was recently shipped from the US to Italy (about 2 months transit time.) and was operating normally before shipment. I believe the culprit to be the CEM, possible faulty grounds? The question is whether or not I can disconnect the breaker/fuse panel that contains the CEM from the car for inspection/troubleshooting without loosing any information on the CEM?

Answer
Joel, The bulbs are probably not all good.  The position lights are usually the culprits.  You thing all are good but they are not.  Check engine lights need to be scanned as well as the whole system on the car.  The CEM rarely goes on these.  I just had one of these with a bad draw problem.  Fuse 32 is the CEM as well as a few others.  Look at the panel it will tell you all the CEM fuses.  Personally, I would take the car to the dealer for a Full scan of the system.  Roger
