My gas petal is stuck in my 98 Volvo s70.Is there anything I can do as a quick fix?

  Stuck as in how. Won't move at all. Stuck wide open. Stuck partially open?
  Pull the back plastic cover off of the throttle body shaft and see if the cable unwrapped, slipped of the cams, or jammed on something. Sometimes if you release it too quickly or the cruise is goofy, it will wrap up. Check the cruise cable too, or disconnect to see if that helps.
