I have a major oil leak which seems to be coming from the bottom pulley area, would this be the oil pump gone??????

 Glenn, without seeing it I cannot say. But, unlikely oil pump as it is inside the oil pan with no external components. Look carefully above the the pulley for oil dripping down from above and collecting there.
  It could be the front crankshaft seal, but unlikely. I suspect valve cover or camshaft seals. Look real hard as it is tough to see clean oil. use your fingers to detect it.
