Volvo Repair: 2002 s60 volvo non turbo, s60 volvo, oem sources

how difficult is it to change the timing belt? Are special tools required? Should more than 2 pulleys be replaced? Would you recommend replacing the water pump at the same time? Is there a good place to get oem parts?

Charles, to put it mildly, Even a skilled tech has problems with these belts.  I would not recommend you trying this.  The tensioner and idler pulley should be replaced.  If the pump isnt leaking, leave it alone.  Plenty of OEM sources on the net.  Prices are competative.  A tensioner tool helps.  Roger
