Hi Roger.

Many repairs done to my car:

replaced starter, alternator, fuel pump (a year ago)

I have been having problems with the car not turning over the past 2 days and then on the third day it started and ran for 10 minutes and then the oil warning light came on
and off and then the car died.  Then took it to the mechanic and the car starts up fine.  Brought it back home and drove it... Then the light came back up and the light seems to come on when I press on the gas.  I am afraid to get back in the car.  Hoping to make it home...

HJ, SOunds like an oil pressure issue.  I would change the sensor and run a new black wire from the connection block at the firewall.  If it still comes on after you do this, then its an iternal problem.  Most likely a clogged oil pump pick up tube or actual oil pump.  Roger
