Volvo Repair: Volvo 240 rear door weather strip, weather strip, rubber tits

Hi there, I need to replace the weather strip (black soft spongy rim around
door) on the rear door (trunk) of my 1989 240 wagon.  Any advice to offer
when pulling out the old one and getting the new one to adhere?  I bought
some 3M super weather strip adhesive to do the job.  Any advice will be
greatly appreciated. thanks

  Joe, if memory serves, no adhesive should be needed. There should be little rubber tits (sorry ladies, but that's what they are called) that you moisten and push into preformed holes. If it's really rusty and the holes are bad, you may need to glue?
