Volvo Repair: 1998 V70XC cruise control trouble shooting, panel indicator, cruise control

Combination switch does not activate instrument panel indicator light and cruise system does not operate. I require the trouble shooting map.

  Gary, sorry, I'm at work and do not have access to any trees. They're never right any way and usually end with, "try known good ECU" Great if you're a dealer, otherwise most of us don't have a "known Good" part laying around. VBG Check all the obvioous things. Fuses first. Then stalk wires. Then check all vacuum connections. Most likely, it's the switch/stalk assbly.
