Volvo Repair: volvo s70, vacuum leaks, volvo s70 2000

Hi there-
I have a volvo s70 (2000) and recently, whenever I slow and then go, for example if I slow down to turn a corner or something, my car stalls out.  it's happened maybe 6 times in the past week.  When it is all stalled out the battery light and the oil light come on, but I'm not sure if that's directly related.  none of the other lights come on, just those.  Any advice you can give me would be great, I really haven't been happy with this car- I heard that Volvos were supposed to be great but I've had my share of problems with this little bugger in the 7 months that I've owned it.

  Those lights coming on after a stall are normal. Kinda like key on, engine off. (KOEO) the reason for the stall can be many. I would first start checking for vacuum leaks. Then the idle stabilizer system/motor. If all ok, I would check the EGR system to see if the valve is sticking open?
