Volvo Repair: car keeps losing power, stalling, car volvo, cam sensor

i have a 1993 850 GLT...133k miles...this poor car keeps losing power while i'm driving...i lose power steering/brakes...dash lights flash and car stops.  after about 4 minutes the car starts up again and things are fine. i also have a problem starting it after driving and parking. i try and start the car and it wont start...after 5 minutes it starts and its fine. these two issues happen 1 or 2 times a week.  i have brought it to a volvo mechanic twice...no codes, battery and alternator are fine.  had another guy look at it...he changed the fuel filter but the problem keeps occurring...help me please...i love this volvo...but it's starting to drive me crazy!!

Patricia, The ol fuel filter miracle fix.  I hate when guys think that will fix it.  Its not an american car.  Volvo Fuel filters rarely ever clog.  The 93 is known for fuel pump issues and cam sensor issues.  Have your Volvo tech check that for you.  It may be a Fuel relay also.  Roger
